One day, while living in Brussels, I walked into a pet shop and met a dog who changed everything. I named him Snoopy. After many long, dark and rainy days, in 2000, we moved to sunny Los Angeles, in search of a more "outdoor" lifestyle for Snoopy. I was still consulting and working long hours and I felt like a terrible dog mom so I decided that it was important to me to find a way to make time to spend with Snoopy and to create a life that I could enjoy. I researched all the different industries and discovered the tanning industry was a multibillion dollar industry so I bought into an automated spray tanning booth company that was new to the market. That was in 2004. Then in 2005, Infinity Sun was born. So effectively, that made Snoopy my cofounder and inadvertently an entire industry was impacted by his existence. This dog changed my life in so many ways. Not only did he teach me the meaning of unconditional love, but he was the reason I was able to create a life that I love which also brought the same fate to so many others! When Snoopy passed away in 2011, it felt right to create a nonprofit that raises money through the sunless industry to help dogs in need find homes. If Snoopy made such a difference in my life, there are so many amazing dogs out there just waiting for someone to love them, someone whose life they can change too.
